LINDSAY HOUSE NURSERY MURAL

Overview
Lindsay House provides temporary accommodation for homeless/roofless people from the South Lanarkshire Council area. The service is provided 24 hours per day throughout the year. Its aim is to provide a safe, secure and supported environment for all.  Julia worked with young people from Shelter Families Project who at the time were in temporary accommodation.  Lindsay house has a nursery where parents and their children can work with play therapists and relax.  The young people decided to create a ceramic mural which featured all their favourite characters from children’s stories, nursery rhymes and television programmes for the children to enjoy.
